Join Manatee Lagoon’s Manatee Masters and an expert speaker for a lecture to learn about a new topic each month! Advance registration is recommended, although not required. This helps Manatee Lagoon with tracking the number of visitors we receive and plan for seating.

This month: Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Regional Biologist Ricardo Zambrano will talk about various species of shorebirds and seabirds that can be found in and around Lake Worth Lagoon, and how these birds use the habitat for nesting, resting and foraging. He will also discuss how FWC is working with Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management to create and protect habitat for these important species.
