Join Manatee Lagoon’s Manatee Masters and an expert speaker for a lecture to learn about a new topic each month! Advance registration is recommended, although not required. This helps Manatee Lagoon with tracking the number of visitors we receive and plan for seating.

This month: South Florida-based underwater nature photographer Ben Hicks will talk about his experiences with photography around the world, sharing images from some of his magnificent encounters, from enormous waves to mysterious underwater creatures. He will also explain how he uses photography to inspire others to appreciate the importance of environmental conservation, and discuss his focus on sea turtle conservation as a means to communicate the health of the world’s marine ecosystems.
